The Sinterklaas dice game works as you're used to, but with a twist. In addition to rolling the dice, we're adding fun and challenging task cards. This variant is played over two rounds, and the goal remains the same: acquire gifts by rolling the dice! You decide beforehand how many gifts everyone buys and for what amount. This can range from one gift of €10 to three gifts of €5 per person. Are you only playing with your family? Then the parents can buy the gifts. It's entirely up to you!
After everyone has placed their gifts in a pile, the dice game can begin!

Sinterklaas Dice Game Rules
The Sinterklaas dice game is played in two rounds. Appoint a game master to avoid chaos and ensure everyone knows and follows the rules.
Round 1
Each player takes turns rolling the dice:
- Pick a gift, but don't unwrap it.
- Take a task card.
- Pick a gift and unwrap it.
- Unwrap a gift (yours or someone else's).
- Take a task card.
- Pick a gift, but don't unwrap it.
Round 1 ends when all gifts have been picked. The still-wrapped gifts can now be unwrapped. But be careful, nothing is definitively yours yet!
Round 2
For the second round, set a timer (20-30 minutes). Put the timer away so no one can see the time for extra suspense.
- Give a gift to someone else.
- Take a task card.
- Roll again.
- Take a task card.
- Take a gift from someone else.
- Take a task card.
When the timer goes off, the gifts you possess at that moment are yours. Unless someone ends up with no gifts. That person may then take one gift from someone with two or more gifts. Once everyone has a gift, the game is over.
